Ophthalmic Clinical Considerations of GLP-1s

This course will examine the rise in GLP 1 receptor agonists in the patient population and the ophthalmic considerations that Optometrist must be aware of. Specific attention will be derived from the American Optometric Association clinical report of GLP-1's by it's primary author.

ABOUT DR. MORGENSTERN: 
Dr. Morgenstern serves as the Director of the American Optometric Association (AOA) Clinical Resources Group charged with developing the AOA’s Evidence Based Clinical Practice Guidelines. He is currently a contract optometric Subject Matter Expert for the US Defense Health Agency - Vision Center of Excellence researching acute eye injury, blast eye injury and vision dysfunction associated with Traumatic Brain Injury.
