Merit Award
The Pennsylvania Optometric Association “Merit Awards” are designed to honor individuals who, through exceptional service, have distinguished themselves in any given year, or whose consistent service over the years is deserving of recognition. Merit Awards may be presented to more than one person annually; they may not necessarily be presented every year.
Nominations will be accepted from the POA's local societies, committees, and Board of Directors. Nominees will be considered based on the service in a given year, or over several years, presented in the application. You may nominate more than one person if there was a joint effort on a particular project that is worthy of recognition.
Nominations will not be accepted if the required fields are incomplete.
